The Brisbane Bullets have announced that Matt Hodgson will return to the club for the NBL21 season.
Under the NBL and Australian Basketball Players Association agreement, Hodgson initially chose to explore European playing options, before deciding to play another NBL season with the Bullets.
“It’s great to have Hodgy back as a Bullet,” CEO Peter McLennan said.
“Matt’s already had an impact in Brisbane, playing 57 games since joining our club in 2018.
“He is one of the most talented big men in the league and is an important part of our roster make-up.
“We supported his decision to explore overseas options, but always knew that if Matt was playing in the NBL this season that it would be in a Bullets singlet.”
In NBL20, Hodgson averaged 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game with six double doubles on the season.
Hodgson joins Will Magnay, Nathan Sobey, Cameron Gliddon, Jason Cadee and Tyrell Harrison as contracted players for the coming season.
